Winter 2009-2010, Weekly Technique & Training Sessions
 SIX DIFFERENT CLASSES THIS WINTER! MVNC is pleased to offer some new ski classes this winter in addition to our popular classes from last year. Join us for some great skiing, learning, and training! Skiing with a group and a coach is fun and enlightening, and will definitely help you improve. To understand our offerings and select the appropriate class for you, please download the complete info packet below and read it carefully. All classes alternate each week between skating and classic style. Exact location and discipline (classic or skating) of each session will be announced by e-mail and at the previous class. All classes except Advanced Intermediate are full. Waitlist only.

Please note: There are no classes for never-ever skiers. If you're a pure beginner, please take some lessons from Methow Valley Ski School at Sun Mountain or other locations.

December 17-20, 2009 Methow Valley Nordic Ski Camp
This 3 day Nordic clinic is held at the spectacular Sun Mountain Lodge in Winthrop, WA. The camp offers something for every level of skier, in both classic and skate techniques, and includes expert instruction with low skier to instructor ratios on some of the finest groomed trails in North America.

 December 31, 2009 3rd Annual Wooden Ski Race
Thursday December 31st in Mazama. Wear wool and bring out those old wooden skis to celebrate the history and beauty of skiing. 2.5km and 5km course.
12:30 p.m. registration and pine tar clinic
2:00 p.m. start
3:30 p.m. costume contest, awards, food...

January 9-10, 2010 MVN Members' Clinic
An excellent lower-key alternative to the December camp, with one day of skate and one of classic. Members only. 9:00 - 3:30 p.m. $115 fee includes lunch. Sorry, the Clinic is sold out. Waitlist only. Registration form.

February 13, 2010 Tour of the Methow
A HUGE day of incredible skiing (and snacks). 80k, 50k, 30k, 20k, 10k, and 5k options. Get the kids out too! FREE to MVNC members and kids if registered by 2/1.
