LOCATION: Winthrop Town Trailhead

DISTANCE: One lap around the Trailhead Meadow Loop for skiers over 12; a shorter lap for skiers 12 and under.

CATEGORIES: There are five categories--you must choose one to enter: 1) Kids 12 and under, 2) Big kids 13 thru 17, 3) Adults (18 and older) with skijoring equipment, 4) Adults with small dogs (under 40 lbs), 5) Adults with big dogs (40 lbs and up).

FEES: $12.00 per team (one human, one dog); kids 12 and under are free.

REGISTRATION:
Please register in advance by sending your name, age, dog's name, dog's approximate weight, and race you're entering to mvndoggiedash@gmail.com. Payment and day-of-race registration at Winthrop Trail Head, beginning at 8:45 am.

START TIME:
First race at 9:30 am.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Dogs must be on a leash. You must start and finish with the same dog. Imaginative costumes suggested for both you and your dog.

PRIZES:Ribbons for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and prizes for best costumes in each race, PLUS best costume overall.

ALL PROCEEDS: go to benefit dogs and cats in need.
